Formerly an RAF Officer, Laura has since worked for the Environment Agency in Flood Defence and Sustainable Business teams. Latterly she worked for Forestry and Land Scotland leading the operational team responsible for managing the land and attractions for visitors in the Inverness and Cairngorms areas of the Highland Region. She was responsible for the management of the honeypot sites at Loch Morlich and the Green Lochan in the central Cairngorms throughout COVID19 restrictions. Now CEO of Loch Insh Outdoor Centre she leads the development and implementation of the COVID recovery strategy. Laura is also proud to have worked with De Montfort University's textiles department as an industry partner to encourage students to design-out the need for plastic in sportswear and guest lectured on the topic of sustainable design and waste.
