Mosaic of President Zelensky, made from 000s of pennies, to support Ukraine Humanitarian Fund and disadvantaged UK kids
Manchester-based ICENI Mastermind, a social enterprise helping disadvantaged students aged 16 – 18, is working with renowned UK mosaic artist, Ed Chapman, to produce a unique piece of work - a mosaic, made of thousands of pennies, measuring an impressive 6' x 4', of Ukrainian President Zelensky.
This one-of-a-kind piece of art celebrates a man who has shown phenomenal bravery, integrity and leadership — and now one lucky person can win this stunning mosaic. The money, raised via Crowdfunder, will be used to jointly support the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund and disadvantaged UK students.
Each £10 donation will secure an entry into the prize draw on 18th April 2022 at 15:00 UK time. Half of all profits from the partnership between ICENI Mastermind and Ed Chapman will be used to make a donation to the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund, with the other half used to help even more students discover essential and transferable skills. These will allow them to flourish in their studies, employability and relationships.
Ed Chapman is a top British mosaic artist with an instantly recognisable style. His mosaics have a number of high-profile collectors including foreign royalty and members of The Times' 'Rich List', Arnold Schwarzenegger, Annie Lennox, TV stars, Darts legend Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor, England footballers and even Lemmy from Motorhead.

Commenting on the mosaic, Ed Chapman said:
President Zelensky has shown himself to be an exceptional, and exceptionally brave, leader in recent weeks and it's a pleasure to create this mosaic and to support both the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund and also younger people who are disadvantaged."
