Hands And Paws Photography, Started and Owned by Robert Simpson, is surpassing the challenges of starting a new business in the UK to bring a unique style of photography to the residents of Derby and Surrounding areas. Robert is a Self-taught photographer with over 15 years of experience. However, he found his true love for photography while studying Level 2 Animal Care at Derby College - at every possible moment; he always took the time to take photographs of the animals on the college campus. After completing the course, Robert studied a level 3 photography course at Nottingham College. However, he later dropped out due to the lack of practical training in the class and started his new business venture. With the support of friends and family, Hands And Paws Photography was initially founded in October 2019; unfortunately, it was later dissolved due to the world pandemic caused by Covid-19. In December 2021, Robert started Hands And Paws Photography again. It was registered as a Limited Company with companies house to capture the memories of Families and their Furry friends. Learning from the damages caused by the pandemic, Robert is constantly adapting his business model to stay with the industry’s current trends and overpowering barriers that occur while keeping with the original Hands And Paws Purpose, Values and Culture. Recently Robert has officially introduced Wedding and Event Packages to the Hands And Paws area of specialisation with a vibrant and creative technique that clients love and is hoping to expand further the services Hands And Paws Photography provides to work alongside the fantastic business located in Derby and the surrounding areas.One of Robert’s most significant challenges at present is the continuing inflation and rising cost of living. To ensure He or Hands And Paws doesn’t fall into financial difficulty, Robert works a secondary Job throughout the week until the company have a sturdy client base that allows for self-sufficiency. However, Robert always has and always will put the Clients of Hands And Paws first with 24/7 client support, pre-shoot meetings with cake and coffee, and constant updates from the moment of making the booking so that their clients are never left in the dark about their photographs and prints. Hands And Paws Photography is passionate about bringing clients the friendliest service, allowing them to express themselves during photoshoots to capture the most authentic and genuine memories. StartUp Photographer Surpassing Challenges to Capture Derby's Memories

Derby-based start-up Hands And Paws Photography has been named a finalist for 2 categories ahead of the Midlands Final of the StartUp Awards. The StartUp Awards has been launched to recognise the booming startup scene across the UK which has accelerated since the 2019 pandemic. Over 800,000 new businesses were founded in the UK since 2021, a 4.3% increase from the year before. A record number of businesses applied to this year’s StartUp Awards, with 1,100 firms shortlisted across ten UK nations and regions. The contribution of these firms - all of which were started in the last three years - is significant, having created over 5,000 new jobs since they were established and generating annual sales of £584 million. Hands And Paws Photography, who Specialise in capturing memories of Families and their Pets, began trading in December of 2021. This year the business has been nominated for the Creative StartUp and Consumer Services StartUp of the Year and will be attending the Awards Ceremony that is being held this May in Birmingham.
