Digital fundraising entrepreneur, using digital tools to share fundraising insight and opportunities for charity fundraising. Founded UK Fundraising (fundraising.co.uk) in 1994 and sold it in 2022. Originally a fundraiser at Oxfam, Afghanaid and Amnesty International UK, Howard wrote the world's first book on digital fundraising, and has trained thousands of fundraisers in making the most of digital. He co-founded Barcamp Nonprofits and Utopy.co, trains for the Chartered Institute of Fundraising's Academy programme, and is director of Giving X Ltd which explores the potential to grow giving for social good on a massive scale.
