A Lincolnshire lady is filling a gap in the market by making stunning yet practical Oxygen backpacks for those who need to carry them with them. A friend of Emma's put a post on social media asking if anyone could make her daughter a pretty backpack to carry her oxygen tank in as she suffered from Cystic Fibrosis. ​ Emma likes sewing, a challenge and helping friends so Emma and her friend met in a well known coffee shop and despite quite a few funny looks, spent about an hour discussing and measuring the existing black canvas NHS bag her daughter had. ​ Whilst it's great the NHS provides these serviceable bags, they are not pretty and as a young lady, Hannah wanted to carry something practical yet attractive. ​ Over the coming weeks, a prototype was made and eventually developed into a back pack specifically designed to carry an oxygen tank, medicines and personal items such as purse, phone, makeup etc. ​ Hannah (the friends daughter) was delighted with her bag and used it daily. She was so pleased with it Hannah and Emma discussed fabric for a second bag. She also recommended the bag to a friend of hers who also ordered one. ​ Unfortunately, Hannah did not live long enough to use a second bag. In Emma's sewing notebook, the oxygen tank backpack pattern is entitled Hannah's Bag. In her mind it has always been Hannah's bag and will always be her bag and so with her Mum's permission, the name 'Hannah's Bag' remains.<blockquote>A beautifully crafted backpack for those who need to carry an oxygen tank</blockquote>
