A festive variety show with funny fairy tales, yuletide classics and film favourites that has been shot around Derbyshire is now screening online.

Derbyshire company Darley Dance Productions unveil The Christmas Show online

A small production company is making big waves as they give a cinematic edge to their Christmas show which would normally take place in local venues.

Festive variety show goes online after Darley Dance Productions raise £10,000

Abbi trained as a dancer from a very early age and at the age of 18 set up a dance school running extra curricular dance classes, affiliated to a local secondary school.

In 2008 she created Darley Dance and started working within events. Darley Dance is a professional dance company which specialises in providing professional dancers for events. 

In 2018 Darley Dance became Darley Dance Productions and started producing The Christmas Show. A fun variety show which brings a professional production to local community venues. In2020 as her business faced disaster Abbi launched a crowdfunder to put her Christmas Production online saving her business and paying her performers at a desperate time. Since 2020 The Christmas Show has remained online and in 2022 will go live too for the first time since before the pandemic.

Abbi was Marketing Derby’s Rising Star for 2019 and, as part of her company ethos, works hard to support and motivate freelance dancers and performers.
