The team at the financial comparison site, <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.lendingexpert.co.uk/">Lendingexpert.co.uk</a>, have looked into ways you can get a partial refund if something you purchased before Black Friday or Cyber Monday went down in price this weekend.&nbsp; For immediate release - Monday 29th November There's nothing more irritating than purchasing goods at full price, only to find that just days later, the item has dropped in price.&nbsp; With many retailers offering money off for Black Friday over the weekend, shoppers may have noticed they've fallen victim to this.&nbsp; But don't despair - you may be able to get a partial refund on your goods if you bought them before Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and they've dropped in price over the weekend.&nbsp; Retailers don't legally have to offer shoppers the difference in price back, but it's always worth asking.&nbsp; Many retailers offer price guarantee schemes - here are just a handful of them;&nbsp; John Lewis&nbsp; Halfords&nbsp; Curry's&nbsp; Dobbies Generally speaking, items have to be in stock when you ask for a partial refund, and sometimes the difference may be given to you in-store credit rather than cash. Sadly not all retailers will entertain giving you a partial refund, but it's always worth asking, even if they don't advertise the fact they'll price match items.&nbsp; If you've bought an item online, your consumer rights differ slightly. You have the right to return goods within 14 days (unless it's bespoke), which means if you find the same product cheaper, you can return the original item and re-purchase it at a better price elsewhere if the retailer refuses to match the price.&nbsp; You may have to buy the cheaper item before receiving a refund for the returned one, or you could miss out on the deal.&nbsp; Once you've told an online retailer you no longer want an item; you have 14 days to return it. You may have to cover the return delivery cost, although you should be refunded the original delivery charges.
