ADMIN ALERT: Introducing Newspage Raws
Starting today, strong News Alerts created by Pro subscribers will be badged as a Newspage 'Raw' and go into an archive that journalists can search by keyword, straight from the app — in real time.
The first 20+ are in the archive now and every new one that makes the grade can be seen by journalists immediately. They will know who created the Raw and who is responsible for the story they're writing actually existing.
Essentially, the more good News Alerts you create, the more stories you're likely to feature in, and the more visible you will be in search and on AI.
This gets you more coverage
A good News Alert no longer depends on us writing it. It sits in the archive, badged, where a journalist can find it the moment it hits the archive, or in three months when the story comes round again.
That means good News Alerts can travel further, and generate more coverage for Pro users, than they ever have before. And often before we write them ourselves.
It means we can scale the stories that Newspage puts in front of journalists exponentially.
A good ‘Raw’
A good Raw is usually a new trend or original insight you have, which other experts on the platform engage with, validating it as a story.
Good alerts usually draw several responses quickly, though not always if the subject is niche or you posted at 11pm on a Saturday.
Not every alert will be a Raw. That's the point of the badge. So over to you: create.
